Elective Selections for Fall 2024 open on May 28, 2024

Selections for Fall 2024 elective courses will begin on May 28, 2024. At that time, students will see the AP courses they are approved for on their Talos accounts. Please note that while the plan is for the student to be programmed in the AP courses they are approved for, final programs will be released in the Fall.

Students must read and review the key information thoroughly, including the Elective descriptions and the required prerequisites/eligibility needed for the respective course/s, so they are prepared to submit preferences correctly and by the designated deadlines. Preferences are used to build overall student programs--we build student programs by prioritizing graduation requirements and by giving each student a minimum of 7.5 periods (Physical Education and Lunch included).

• Deadline to fill out the Z-QT10 form for PSAL student athletes, who may need to travel during 10th period to attend practices and/or competitions

May 28, 2024

• Elective course preference form in Talos available to students following the order below:
• 12:00 pm – Rising seniors
• 3:00 pm – Rising juniors
• 6:00 pm – Rising sophomores
• NOTE: Students will see their respective AP course preferences in which they are approved for in their Talos accounts. Students should use this information when considering ranking their elective choices.

• Deadline to submit elective course preferences in Talos
