The Environmental Cub presnets the EcoFact of the Week for 10-12/2020 -- In 2010, 11.6 million tons of greenhouse gas was released into the air in the production of 153 billion plastic bottles that are thrown away. Beverage bottles make up 40 to 60 percent of litter in states without bottle deposit. By reducing the use of plastic bottles, as well as any other containers of any material, and recycling them, you can both help to clean the air and save the environment and wildlife from getting hurt from the waste we produce.
