Dr. Moore's Freshman work on I-search papers in the library and computer lab!

Dr. Emily Moore shares praises for Stuy's library and computer lab! Like most students in their grade, her 9th graders are working on a long, first person research paper (the "I-Search") that the teachers in the English department have been collaborating on and perfecting for years. As you can see from the photos Dr. Moore included, "we've used the iPad cart in our own classroom, the Stuy computer lab (room 351), and the Stuy Library classroom over the course of the past three weeks as we've researched, learned how to evaluate the credibility of the sources we locate, learned about MLA citation, and composed our papers. We've even had three visits with Ms. Christina Kennedy (our "class librarian" as we now call her) to learn about Stuy's databases and extensive library resources." (photos courtesy of Dr. Moore)
