Dr. Greenwald's classes attend talk with Emily Bowen Cohen

<p>Students attended an interesting talk Dr. Lisa Greenwald this past Tuesday... her classes talk a lot about different cultures in the United States and all over the world, and the fact that many Stuyvesant students belong to a multitude of them. So, it was fitting to attend a book talk at Central Synagogue by Muscogee (Native American)-Jewish writer and artist, Emily Bowen Cohen, who talked about her new graphic novel <i>Two Tribes</i> about coming to terms with being part of &quot;two tribes&quot; and the richness and vitality it brings. It is published by Heartdrum, an imprint that centers stories about contemporary Indigenous young people. <a href="https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.barnesandnoble.com%2Fw%2Ftwo-tribes-emily-bowen-cohen%2F1142674752&amp;data=05%7C01%7CRIngram3%40schools.nyc.gov%7C01da1b003329487c7c4508dbe214607c%7C18492cb7ef45456185710c42e5f7ac07%7C0%7C0%7C638352349364777944%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=yMwRDocT3xM9ZD7vq1Osa6bYgV6EFz0bq7H1x08WW7c%3D&amp;reserved=0">Two Tribes by Emily Bowen Cohen, Paperback</a></p>
