Sophomore, Agatha Edwards published the book, The 100 Most Important African Americans. This is the second in her series of “Top 100” books. Agatha also wrote a book on the 100 Most Important New Yorkers. She started writing at 10 years old. She was featured in an article in The Brooklyn Home Reporter: Sunset Park Teen's Book Celebrates Black History Month

Agatha has started a GoFundMe page to give away copies of this publication. She is working with the Brownsville Heritage House on this project to give away these books highlighting positive role models. Her plan is to get the books to teachers for classroom use.  Click the link to participate! You can make a difference!

Agatha is now just $700 from buying the first 1,000 books on African-American history to be given free to kids in Brownsville for Black History Month--but time is short so any help needed as February is fast approaching. If anyone can donate, even $5, it so helps.

Next, Agatha is working on a third book in the series about 100 Most Important Scientists of All Time. We’ll be on the lookout!
