<p>On Tuesday, January 16, the Cornell University Glee Club and Chorus visited Stuyvesant choruses for a workshop-presentation event. The Cornell choirs came to NYC as part of their tour, and met with Stuy choruses before their performance in the city later in the evening. </p><p>Each chorus (Bass, Oratorio, and Treble) warmed up, rehearsed, and performed a piece with Cornell singers, after which, the Cornell guests sang a piece and held a Q and A session. The workshops were led by the Director of the Cornell University Choirs, professor Lerangis and Assistant Director Dr. Nieh. This event was planned together with a Stuy music department Alum of 2020 Priscilla N., who is a current Cornell senior, is singing with the Cornell chorus, and is the choir’s tour manager.
