Join Stuyvesant Biology teacher, Ms. Marissa Maggio, and her mother, Mrs. Maggio, as they go live to teach the Stuy Community how to cook their treasured family recipe.
The Maggio recipe for manicotti followed the family from Sicily to the U.S. in the 1960s, bringing a taste of Sicily to the family’s children ever since.
On March 13, The Maggios are inviting the Stuyvesant community into their kitchen. Fanny Lawren will host the livestream production and Junior Cynthia Li with her 8th grade sister, Sophia, will cook alongside, joined by Freshman parents, Rena Zou and James Lin.
The livestream allows the whole community to cook along, ask questions, and post their final results.
