Congratulations to Stuy’s NHD Winners - SWEPT the NYC Competition!

Stuyvesant Social Studies students in Mr. Sandler’s and Mr. Moore’s classes swept the NY City level History Day competition in February winning 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in almost every single category! Over 40 of our

students won awards at the NYC competition. Two of our students’ winning projects were featured in the Brooklyn Paper! Read the article at this link.

Mr. Sandler’s APUSH students won first place in group performance, second in individual performance, 1rst place in group exhibit board, 1rst, 2nd and 3rd in group film category and 3rd place in individual exhibit and group website. Mr. Moore’s students won 2nd in group exhibit board, 1rst and 2nd in individual exhibit board, dominated individual websites and won 1rst and second in group websites.
