Congratulations to Nat'l Chess Champs! Stuy grades 10 & 11 #1 and grade 12 #2!

There is National Chess Championship Tournament for grades K-12 every December in Orlando, FL. Players come to compete and play from all 50 states.  This year, however, it was turned into online games due to the pandemic situation.

On 12/12-12/13 for 2 days and 7 games the tournament was played.

Stuyvesant's team won 1st place in 10th grade as well as 11th grade.

Our 12th grade team won 2nd place.
