Congratulations Zoe Parkin! Finalist in the Sixth Annual “Tell Me a Story” High School Contest.
This year, in a time of pandemic and sheltering in place, Narrative welcomed poetry submissions from our global community of high school students, all of whom imagined and wrote to the prompt of escape.
Contributing teachers and students in this year’s Narrative contest covered the world: submissions were from 19 countries, including South Africa, India, China, Serbia, Poland, Taiwan, and others. Within the US, young poets in 39 states and 174 cities submitted—an amazing outpouring of poetry! In all, the Narrative in the Schools programs reach more than 100,000 students and teachers in schools worldwide.
