<p>Last weekend, <strong>Ms. Julie Sheinman</strong>, coach for the Speech and Debate Teams shared that <strong>80 Stuy students competed in three venues.</strong> 40 competed at Xavier High School in Speech & Congress while 20 others were at Leon M. Goldstein School for the Sciences in Policy Debate and 16 were in Nightingale Bamford for Public Forum.</p>
<p>Senior, <strong>Jevina Wong</strong> placed 5<sup>th</sup> in Prose and Poetry while senior <strong>Christian Bae</strong> and junior, <strong>Rae Jeong</strong> placed 5<sup>th</sup> and 10<sup>th</sup> for Congressional Debate. Juniors, <strong>Anne Rhee</strong> and <strong>Andrea Huang</strong> made it to the octofinals for Policy as well and for Public Forum, senior, <strong>Jeremy Lee</strong> and junior, <strong>Justin Sword</strong> made it to the quarterfinals, and senior, <strong>Alex Annenberg</strong> and junior, <strong>Eric Han</strong> made it to the octofinals.
