Congrats to Stuy seniors going to Robotics World Championships 2026!

At the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) New York City Robotics Championship, which took place at Francis Lewis High School, Stuyvesant’s Team 479 performed admirably throughout the competition, but did not secure a spot to advance to the World Championship in Houston this month. However, congratulations to two Stuyvesant students who will still be represented at the global level! Rohan Sen (12th grade) and Michael Huang (9th grade) will be competing at the World Championship as members of team 8721 Mighty Mechanics, a Forest Hills-based community team that finished the regional event ranked first. Rohan will be attending the World Championship for the second time in three years.

For a full look at the rankings and event details, you can visit the official results page here: [FTC NYC Championship Rankings](https://ftc-events.firstinspires.org/2025/USNYNYCMP/rankings).

Congrats and best wishes on the World Championships to Rohan and Michael!
