Congrats to students taking the North American Computational Linguistics Olympiad on March 5, 2020

Dr. Susan Brockman shares congratulations to students who will participate in the  North American Computational Linguistics Olympiad (NACLO) at Stuyvesant.

As has been the case three years running, we have students who have made it into the top 10% in North America, and are, therefore, invited to sit for the Invitational Round.  They are:  Benjamin Avrahami, Frank Yang, Tomas Acuna, and Catherine Dell'Olio.  In terms of percentage, this is 1/3 of the kids who sat for NACLO this year making it into the next round--our results have caused jaws to drop in the Linguistics community in the greater New York area.

The Invitational Round is on Friday, March 5th, from 9AM till 1PM (it's an hour longer than the Open Round).
