Congratulations to Senior Diana Yang who won 3rd Place on the New York City Classical Club Sight Translation exam, competing against Latin students from the NY Metro Area.
Every year, although paused recently due to COVID, the New York City Classical Club offers a Sight Translation exam for top Latin students around the NY Metro area. Competitors are tasked with translating an unseen Latin passage with limited vocabulary and grammatical notes. Several Stuyvesant students competed in this year's contest, with senior Diana Yang placing Third, receiving a certificate of achievement and a cash prize.
