<div><strong>Dr. Lisa Greenwald</strong> shares that last Saturday (11/2), five <strong>History Club</strong> members (J<strong>oshua Melamed, Adam Avnet, Anthony Rivello, Angier Lei, Andy Chen)</strong> participated in a r<strong>egional History Bowl competition</strong> in New Jersey and reached the <strong>quarterfinals</strong> of the competition and <strong>qualified for nationals.</strong> Furthermore, in the History Bee competitions (individual tests) <strong>Anthony Rivello</strong> and <strong>Adam Avnet qualified for nationals in the Geography Bee and Andy Chen qualified for nationals in the Science Bee. </strong></div>

<div>The club co-presidents, <strong>Joshua Melamed and Frederick Lei</strong> intend on hosting an i<strong>nterest meeting on November 26th</strong> <strong>for students interested in participating in the regional competition in February and the History Club in general. </strong></div>
