Mr. Brian Sterr shares that Stuyvesant had 92 students it for the AIME exam on March 18th. Due to their outstanding performance on the AIME and AMC 12 exams, 7 students were selected to take the USA Math Olympiad competition, a 9-hour proof-writing competition split over two days. We also had 3 students selected to take the USA Junior Math Olympiad, due to their excellent scores on the AMC 10 and AIME exams. The qualifiers for both exams are listed below. The USAMO/USAJMO exams will take place on April 13th and 14th.
