We are thrilled to congratulate our outstanding Spanish students who have once again demonstrated excellence on the 2024 National Spanish Exam, earning well-deserved national recognition. In this year's competition, Stuyvesant students secured a remarkable 92 gold, 78 silver, and 21 bronze medals. The National Spanish Exam is created by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP) and serves as a cornerstone of academic achievement in Spanish language education, attracting over 80,000 student participants this year from across the United States. This success of our students is not an isolated incident, but rather a reflection of Stuyvesant’s longstanding tradition of academic excellence in Spanish language education. Our students have consistently excelled on these exams thanks to the guidance and expertise of our dedicated Spanish teachers and the continued support of the parents’ association.
