Over the weekend, Stuy's Parent's Association had their annual Spring Gala -- an fantastically well-orchestrated, gorgeous, delicious and overall wonderful. It will be hard to capture how much energy, thought and love went into the event, but the photos will offer a glimpse into what the brilliant Gala Chairpersons, talented volunteers and supportive Family Engagement office can do when working together for our Stuyvesant Community. From the stunning decor, to the delectable food and the amazing assortment of Auction items (checkout the collaborative student artwork video), there was truly something for everyone to enjoy. Many faculty members joined the evening in appreciation for all the PA does!
Importantly, this was not only a wonderful opportunity to connect with friends and meet new parents, it was also a very successful fundraiser, which allows the PA to continue to support the exceptional level of academic, athletic and extracurriculars that Stuy could not provide without their assistance. It was an honor to have special guests: Congresswoman Grace Meng (Stuy '93), Councilwoman Gale Brewer, and Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine present, and Senator Chuck Schumer via video.
