<p>Our senior, <b>Ori Mermelstein,</b> has been chosen one of the finalists in the High School Japanese Haiku division at this year's NECTJ (Northeast Council of Teachers of Japanese) Haiku Contest. There were altogether 900 entries written in Japanese. Congrats to Ori!!</p><p>There will be a hybrid awards ceremony on Saturday, June 7, when the rankings for all the categories and the several language divisions will be revealed.</p>
