<p>Math teacher and Match Team coach, Mr. Stan Kats shares that on March 22nd and 23rd , six Stuyvesant students participated in the USA Mathematical Olympiad and Junior Mathematical Olympiad competitions. <b>Ian Buchanan ('25) and Andrew Li ('24)</b> partook in the Junior Olympiad while <b>John Gupta-She ('23), Paul Gutkovich ('23), Maxwell Zen ('22) and Rishabh Das ('22)</b> took the Olympiad.<br/>We are thrilled to report that <b>Rishabh Das</b> <b>won a gold medal</b> at the competition, ranking top 10 in the country, and <b>Paul Gutkovich won a bronze meda</b>l. Congratulations to all participants and to the two medalists!</p>
