Congratulations to junior, Randy Sim! Winner of the 2022 Congressional App Challenge! Friday, December 16, an event was hosted by Office of Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke, New York City Council member Rita Joseph, and New York State Assembly member Brian Cunningham. to honor this year’s Congressional App Challenge winner. The contest was designed to support STEM and computer coding education for middle and high school students within the 9th Congressional District.
The Congressional App Challenge is the official computer science competition of the U.S. House of Representatives. Since its inception in 2013, the Congressional App Challenge has grown to become a prestigious prize in computer science. Over 30,000 students have participated in this challenge across 340 Congressional Districts in 50 states and five U.S. territories.
