Congratulations to English Teacher, Dr Emily Moore for being named a 2024 DonQuixote Fellow!
The Don Quixote Fellowships support idealistic, romantic, creative, impractical, adventurous summer projects born of teachers’ passions. There was a record number of submissions this year. Brava Dr. Moore! Dr. Moore, teaching 22 years, and teaching both Foundations of Literature and Poetry Workshop will host a celebratory event in Brooklyn to showcase multimedia chapbooks, broadsides, and other paper projects.
This year, two Fellowships are underwritten by one of our partners, the Incite Institute at Columbia University. Incite is an interdisciplinary institute that produces knowledge for public action. They join with people and organizations within and outside Columbia to rethink our understanding of what knowledge is, how it’s created, and how it can be used.
