Two Stuyvesant students received $10,000 scholarships through the 2024 Penguin Random House U.S. Creative Writing Awards: Congratulations to Sofia Hernandez on the Michelle Obama Award for Memoir: My Everything.
Congrats as well to Amber Shen for Saran Wrap. There are six major awards given each year and Stuyvesant is the only high school to produce two winners - a huge accomplishment for our creative writers.
