Congratulations to Aidan Kayne Nakajima Wu whose current karate ranking is on a world level!
He has been representing the United States USA Karate as a National Team member and his dojo Kai Leung's Shotojuku.
Here are his rankings based on the World Karate Federation:
2nd - Cadet Kumite -57kg (sparring)
16th - Cadet Kata (forms)
Aidan competed in Venice, Italy in December 2021, and his most recent international competition was in Acapulco, Mexico on January 20-23, 2022, where he earned a silver medal in the Youth League competition for Cadet Kumite.
There are four international Karate Youth League tournaments a year. Aidan has been attending every one consistently since 2018, and has been steadily climbing the ranks to be the only athlete that is ranked within the top 20 for both Kata and Kumite at this level.
