Congrats to 3 Stuy students - Selected for the 2022 Self Portrait Competition @ City Tech

Ms. Natasha Mercano-Dillon shares that three of her students' artwork have been selected from over 70 submissions to be included in the Self Portraits: Explorations of Identity exhibition at City Tech.

The students submitted creative work that explored their cultural heritage, and questions of race, ethnicity, and/or gender. Congratulations to Chloe Huang, Afra Mahmud and Subaah Syed (Subash's artwork was selected as one of the three Best in Show awards!)

All winners were invited to the Exhibition's opening reception on Thursday, December 1st, 2022.

All exhibiting artists are also be provided with the following:

• a portfolio mentoring session conducted by industry professionals and COMD faculty
• invitations to COMD speaker events
• information session for the COMD Bachelor of Fine Arts program
