Senior Tip

Frost-covered trees and financial aid: file your FAFSA today. If you’re college-bound next year and you haven’t started on your FAFSA, visit the FAFSA website here and download a form as soon as possible. The form is used to determine your eligibility for need-based financial aid. You don’t need to decide on a school to file FAFSA, and you should complete the form even if you think you aren’t eligible for need-based aid. Some merit scholarships rely on the information contained in the FAFSA to allocate funding: if you plan to go to college next year, you must fill out the FAFSA.Learn more

Junior Tip

Tinsel and test prep: make a plan and start studying. If you’re planning on applying to college, then the spring semester of your Junior year is really important from a testing standpoint. Many students prep for and complete their college tests in the spring of 11th grade, and it makes a lot of sense why: by the time you’re a second-semester Junior, you’ve been exposed to all of the content on the SAT and ACT, you’ve had practice with the PSAT, and you’ve got enough time to get your test dates in before you have to worry about applications. This month is a good time to sit down and decide which tests you’ll be taking and when. If you plan to do prep for a spring or summer test, maximize your scores and savings this month during our Holiday Sale!Learn more
