On Friday, May 8, Principal Contreras hosted the first virtual Coffee with Contreras. It was heartwarming to ‘see’ some members of our Stuy family again! 98 parents/guardians joined Principal Contreras and Ms. Ingram on the zoom call and with the help of our Parent’s Association, we were able to live stream to the other parents who signed up, with a surprising peak attendance of 1181 watching on YouTube! You can watch the entire two hours on this recorded link. Questions that were not answered will be released in the Questions for Contreras next week. All were able to submit questions throughout the session through chats. Mr. Contreras answered many questions. We were even able to call on a few to speak their questions. We hope to try to have more smaller sessions beginning on May 21st with Office Hours so that he can have more back and forth conversations.
