Dear District 2 Families and Friends,
Welcome to the commencement of the 2023-2025 term (from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2025) of the Community Education Council for District 2. CEC D2 begins the new term with an in-person meeting on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at 6:00 PM and will end no later than 10:00 PM. The meeting will be held at P.S. 41, located at 116 West 11th Street, New York, NY 10011.
Please join us for our Annual Meeting for the election of Council Officers, followed by the July Calendar Open Public Meeting, and ending with the Council Working Business Meeting. The public is welcome to attend all three meetings on this date but please note, the in-person, open public speaking portion will be held only during the July Calendar Meeting.
We will be broadcasting the meeting so you will be able to view the meeting remotely; however, you will need to be in-person to participate in the open public speaking portion*.
