Catch the student presentation from the College Office on 9/13/22

<p><b>SENIORS:</b></p><p>In case you wish to see the slide deck from the presentation from the College Office on September 13 -- see this post.</p><p>Those Powerpoint slides are now available in the Document Resources section of your Naviance account in the &quot;College Office&quot; folder. </p><p>We discussed that you will need to manually add colleges to your Naviance application list for any non-Common App colleges like MIT, Georgetown, etc, to which you might apply.  Those directions are below:</p><p><b>To manually add colleges to your Naviance “colleges I’m applying to” list:</b></p><p>-go to “colleges I’m applying to” in your Naviance account</p><p>- click on the big red circle with a + icon on the right side of the screen and follow the on -screen prompts:</p><p>-identify the college in &quot;which college are you applying to&quot; by scrolling down or typing the name and selecting </p><p>-select the app type (Regular decision, early action, etc.)</p><p>-select &quot;Add Application&quot;  </p><p>-repeat these steps as needed!</p><p><b>Here’s how to indicate the application</b> <b>plan  (EA/ED/RD/etc) for each college in your Naviance account:</b></p><ul><li>go to &quot;<b>colleges I&#x27;m applying to</b>”</li><li>click on &quot;<b>EDIT</b>&quot; next to one of your early colleges</li><li>select the correct application plan for the college by using the drop down menu under <b>“App Type”</b></li><li>make sure to also indicate the correct application method under <b>“I’ll submit my application”</b> choosing <b>either “Via Common App”, or “Directly to the Institution”.</b>  The latter choice would be for colleges like MIT, Georgetown, any colleges you are applying to via Coalition App, etc.</li><li>click &quot;<b>save college application&quot; </b>to save</li><li><b>repeat for each college</b> to which you are applying</li></ul><p>Remember to contact your assigned college counselor if you have any questions or need anything throughout your senior year!</p>
