Catch the SlideDeck from Financial Aid Info Night 10/14/2021

If you missed the College Office Annual Presentation on Financial Aid on October 14, 2021, our financial aid night presenter from Columbia University has been gracious enough to allow us to share her financial aid night slides with our seniors and parents.

You can view the slide deck on the Document Hub on Talos under "Presentations" or by logging in to your Naviance account and taking the following steps:

-scroll down to "Resources to get ready" and click on "Document Resources"
-select the "College Office" folder
-click on "Financial Aid Night 2021"

Here are some follow up links/resources based upon some of the questions we saw recurring in the q & a feed. See below.

Also, please refer back the email sent to all seniors and parents via Naviance on October 6 entitled “Steps to Apply for Financial Aid" which can be viewed on the Talos Blog at this link.

This includes the key links you’ll need to create an FSA ID, file the FAFSA & CSS Profile, and other resources that should come in very handy.  Check the financial aid pages on the website of the colleges to which you’re applying so that you are clear on all of your financial aid deadlines.  Remember, if you are applying EA or ED, you likely have financial aid deadlines that fall in November.
