On November 9, 2022, we held our annual Sophomore Parent Workshop (our 7th year!) in person in Stuyvesant's theater. About 180 enjoyed the live presentation on Early College Awareness from Director of College Counseling, Mr. Jeffrey Makris, along with an Overview of Naviance from Director of Family Engagement and School. Business Manager, Ms. Dina Ingram. Assistant Principal, Ms. Casey Pedrick provided a presentation on Navigating Teenage Freedoms and the Parent's Association updated our 10th grade families on ways to become involved at Stuyvesant. Principal, Dr. Seung Yu held a detailed Q&A as well. We thank the Parent's Association's Hospitality committee for providing refreshments before the workshop giving families opportunity to socialize, mingle and get to know one another. We also thank the PA's SpiritWear committee as well as the Tech Committee for recording the event so we can share it with those unable to attend in person.
