During parent teacher conferences, 307 parents came to observe classrooms. This is more than double the number of all previous years! There were 9,055 individual conferences held over the two days with 5,377 held on Thursday evening, October 24th, and 3,678 held on Friday afternoon, October 24th. 124 parents were partnered with one-to-one interpreters coordinated through our partnerships with NYU and Columbia International Schools. Stuyvesant is the only High School that provides such a large translation service to parents during parent-teacher conferences all through volunteers. We are most grateful to these University partnerships for continuing to coordinate with us each year. We hope all parents/guardians benefited from conferences.
