Boys Swimming break Stuy Record and Win PSAL "A" Championships!

<div> <p>Coach <strong>Ms. Silvana Choy</strong> shares, congratulations to the <strong>Stuyvesant Boys Swimming Team</strong> for winning <strong>PSAL "A" Championships</strong> which were held February 9-10.  They defeated rival Bronx Science by 53 points.  It was truly a team effort as most of the boys had personal records.  The 200 free relay team of <strong>Sean Roudnitsky, Axel Tolpina, Kai Yamamoto</strong>, and <strong>Nicholas Wen</strong> broke the school record with a time of 1:27.94.</p> <p>In addition, <strong>8 Stuyvesant swimmers qualified for the New York State Championships</strong> which will be held in March.  Congratulations to <strong>Alexander Camaev, Andrew Chopey, Ethan Park, Francis Park, Sean Roudnitsky, Axel Tolpina, Nicholas Wen, </strong>and<strong> Kai Yamamoto</strong>.
