Coach Ms. Silvana Choy shares, congratulations to the Stuyvesant Boys Swimming Team for winning PSAL "A" Championships which were held February 9-10. They defeated rival Bronx Science by 53 points. It was truly a team effort as most of the boys had personal records. The 200 free relay team of Sean Roudnitsky, Axel Tolpina, Kai Yamamoto, and Nicholas Wen broke the school record with a time of 1:27.94.
In addition, 8 Stuyvesant swimmers qualified for the New York State Championships which will be held in March. Congratulations to Alexander Camaev, Andrew Chopey, Ethan Park, Francis Park, Sean Roudnitsky, Axel Tolpina, Nicholas Wen, and Kai Yamamoto.
