Bestselling author Mira Jacob visited Ms. Annie Thoms classes in the library this week and spoke to them about her graphic novel Good Talk, which students are now reading in English classes. Prior to Ms. Jacob’s visit, Ms. Thoms (with students' permission) sent her several pieces of student work created in emulation of her graphic novel. Ms. Thoms shares that she posted a lovely shout-out to our students on her Instagram page (@goodtalkthanks), including naming three Stuy students and sharing panels from their work.
