Attend an NYCPS College Fair in Queens on 4/4/25

The Queens Borough President's Office, In collaboration with the Queens High School Presidents Council, cordially invites you to attend The College Fair On Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 6:00 PM, to be held at Richmond Hill High School.

This college fair is a fantastic chance to explore higher education options from 40 plus Institutions including vocational schools and the US Armed Forces. Come to learn about admissions, financial aid, and gain insights from an MIT expert in applying to selective Universities and Colleges. Queen Chamber of Commerce will also be in attendance.

Highlights:

• 40+ Higher Education Institutions: Representatives from private, public, vocational schools, and the US Armed Forces
• Scholarships & Financial Aid: Live presentations by NY State Higher Education Services Corporation.
• Special Guest: Dr. Gurumurthy Kalyanaram, a doctoral alumnus of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an alumnus of the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars. He is a scholar, professor, and mentor who serves as an Educational Counselor to MIT. Dr. Kalyanaram has conducted information sessions for high school students globally and will present "Why and How to Apply to Selective US Universities and Colleges."
• Community Service Credit: All attending students will receive 4 hours of community service credit from QBPO.

Who Can Attend: Families with students in grades 9–12.
