The Stuyvesant High School Alumni Association is also currently accepting applications for StuyPrep 2020 student volunteers. They are seeking current Stuyvesant High School students who are willing to volunteer their time to assist students preparing for the SHSAT and to generally be great mentors to a promising group of younger students.
Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the StuyPrep program by reading through the Program Details and the rest of their website. They are seeking volunteers primarily for Part Two of the program, deadline is June 19 (but we will require a few volunteers for Part One of the program as well, deadline June 5).
StuyPrep provides a $10/week stipend to volunteers (for each week of confirmed attendance) periodically throughout the program. In addition, the Alumni Association is willing to provide recommendation letters for exceptional students.
If you are under 18 years old, then you will need to work with your parent or guardian to complete the application. The deadline for Part 2 applications is 11:59 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2020. The application can be found here
