Apply for Alumni Association Scholarships by 5/5/25!

The Stuyvesant Alumni Scholarships application is now live! The Stuyvesant Alumni Association is awarding over 40 scholarships worth more than $100,000. The due date is Monday, May 5, 2025. There is one junior scholarship, The Carol and Theodore Lerner Award for Creativity. The rest are for seniors.

Some answers to common questions on the FAFSA/providing financial information:

• If the students have already provided their colleges with the CSS Profile, they can submit that form in lieu of the FAFSA, but only if they did not submit a FAFSA.
• If the student never filed  the  FAFSA because they are ineligible for federal aid, they should explain that in the "Financial aid information" question on the application. All students are open to apply, regardless of eligibility for federal financial aid. All information submitted by the students in their application is kept to the strictest confidentiality. All of the staff and any scholarship committee members, as well as any other additional parties who read the scholarship applications, must sign and adhere to a confidentiality agreement.
• Students must provide the financial information listed in the checklist as a 1 page PDF.
