The UFT Albert Shanker Scholarship is a scholarship worth $5000 for graduating seniors in NYC public schools. There are strict financial eligibility requirements for the scholarship (see chart below) but, otherwise, this is an accessible scholarship for eligible students.
Stuy has had a winner almost every year over the past several years. We hope that many of you will apply!

ALL SCHOLARSHIP MATERIALS (the complete application, essay, financial documents, etc) must be emailed to your assigned college counselor no later than Monday, January 10.
We will then email your application materials with the required transcript and counselor letter. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PROCESS ANY APPLICATIONS EMAILED TO US AFTER 1/10.
