Advanced Placement examination administration begins on Monday, May 5, 2025, and will conclude on Friday, May 23, 2025. Follow the schedule here.
- Classes are held as scheduled throughout the AP exam administration.
- AP Exams will be administered principally in the 6th floor in the gym, Innovation Lab (Room 250) and in the library.
- Some AP exams will be administered in computer labs on the 4th floor, 3rd Floor Gymnasium, Lecture Halls A & B, and the guidance conference room (room 236Q).
- All students, faculty, and staff are asked to speak quietly while passing in the vicinity of the testing rooms. in the 6th floor hallways.
- The library will generally be closed throughout the AP administration and will reopen on Tuesday, May 26, 2025.
For Students Registered for AP Exams:
- Log into myap to confirm the date and time of your upcoming AP exams. Please also view the 2025 Stuyvesant High School AP Exam Schedule
- Students will be provided a school issued Chromebook for taking all digital and hybrid AP examinations.
- On test day you must log in to myap / Bluebook to take all digital and hybrid AP examinations.
- Room assignments will be sent to your NYCPS email account on the Friday before the week in which your AP exam(s) are scheduled.
- Friday, May 2, 2025 room assignments for AP exams from May 5, 2024–May 9, 2025.
- Friday, May 9, 2025, room assignments for AP exams from May 12, 2024–May 16, 2025.
- Friday, May 16, 2025, room assignments for AP exams from May 29, 2024–May 23, 2024.
- Doors will open at 7am Please arrive at your testing room on time. You should arrive to your testing room by 7:30 am for morning exams and by 12:00 pm for afternoon exams.
- Please dress comfortably. Layers are recommended as some rooms are cold and other rooms are warm.
- You should bring lunch to school if you are testing through your lunch period.
- You will not be allowed to leave the school building during any period other than your assigned lunch period, or a free period.
- Faculty members will be asked to accommodate students if they need to eat during class.
- Items to bring into the testing room
- Two wooden pencils and blue or black pens.
- Mechanical pencils are not permitted.
- You may bring a water bottle and a snack.
- You may bring a calculator if permitted for your AP exam.
- No calculators will be supplied.

- Do not bring a mobile phone, smartwatch, or any unauthorized electronic device into the testing room.
- Students found with a mobile phone will have their test invalidated.
- Leave all bags and backpacks in your locker.
- You are expected to attend morning classes if you are taking an AP exam in the afternoon and afternoon classes if you are taking an AP exam in the morning.
