All students, staff, and families who will be attending Stuyvesant home football games this fall at Pier 40 CANNOT LEAVE BAGS/PERSONAL ITEMS UNATTENDED. Pier 40 is a public athletic facility which means there are non-Stuy students and staff consistently entering and exiting the location with limited security. All bags and personal belongings should not be left unattended and must be kept with or on you at all times to prevent potential theft and/or loss of your personal items. With the new school year underway, we want to remind all students to be aware of their surroundings when coming to and leaving school each day. To the extent possible, students should walk with friends or groups of peers to the train stations to avoid issues with panhandlers or other strangers in the area. There are known to be scammers in the streets who may try to sell candy or other items and not give back change or provide the item. Do not scan QR or barcodes on advertisements. Again, please be mindful of your surroundings and stay vigilant during your commute.
