Congratulations to seniors Alexander Smelyansky, Edison Jiang and Serafina Demarco, who all received the 2026 Jugendkurs scholarship from the Goethe-Institut and attended a three-week language course in Goslar, Germany over the course of this past summer. The scholarship covered all of their expenses for the trip and provided them with a wonderful opportunity to improve on their German skills, immerse themselves into a beautiful German city from the Middle Ages, build lasting friendships with students from around the world and visit some wonderful places in the region around Goslar. The Goethe-Institut awards two Stuyvesant students this scholarship every year, so please consider applying this coming February and March, if you are a student of German!
