Stuyvesant is coordinating two (2) field research trips to Yellowstone National Park in July of 2020 open to all current students. Spend the week in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem (GYE), with Yellowstone National Park at its center. You'll meet National Park Service scientists who will guide you through habitat restoration and bison research projects. You'll also travel to the Lamar Valley to study wolf packs and see geysers and hot pools up close, and the trip culminates with a celebratory rafting trip down the Yellowstone River. You will see an abundance of wildlife, hot pools, boiling mud, and countless other thermal features. America's first National Park is brimming over with natural wonders, and you'll get up close with many of them on this field research course.
There will be an interest meeting after school on Monday September 23rd in room 739 for all those that are interested. There are only 6 spots left for this trip!
