2 Stuy teams make the "Top 64” International Public Policy Forum List

Coach Ms. Julie Sheinman shares that two of Stuy's Speech & Debate teams made The Brewer Foundation and New York University's “Top 64” teams for the 22nd annual International Public Policy Forum (IPPF) – the first and only contest that gives high school students around the world the opportunity to engage in written and oral debates on issues of public policy. This year’s qualifying round involved submissions from more than 220 teams, representing schools in 22 countries and 31 U.S. states. In fact, the IPPF received more entries this year than it has since 2014! At the link below, you will find a list of advancing teams in alphabetical order.  You may view the entire list at the link: https://www.ippfdebate.com/announcing-the-2022-23-top-64.

Congratulations to Mikayla Lin, Kai Xuan Li, Nika Raiffe, Chenkai Shen, Calvin Zhang, Unique Zhang; as well as

Philip Virata, Kikyo Makino-Siller, Uma Sukhu, Amrisha Roy on the two named teams. Bravo!
